Carolina Valente Pinto

With a transdisciplinary background in New Media and Digital Culture and Graphic Design, she focuses on public research emphasising the role of the media imaginaries that shape our digital spaces and communities. Before contributing as an event programmer at The Hmm, a platform for inclusive internet cultures, Carolina coordinated the “Going Hybrid”, a project researching alternative platforms, hybrid cultural events, and media activism at the Insitute of Network Cultures and worked with the Research Department at Nieuwe Instituut. Overall, Carolina works on developing inclusive cultural and research-based experiences that promote media literacy and shared agency over our networks.
