Jasmine Alakari

She is an alumni of the CCL Creative Climate Leadership training from JB and the co-founder of HARP (Holistic Arts Research Program) of LIOS Labs - Arts of Ecology platform. Together with Earthrise studio, and in collaboration with the pioneering sound studio MONOM (4DSOUND), she produces sound installations and immersive art projects about the climate crisis. In 2021 she was part of launching a collaborative sound installation project at the COP26 with Minga Indigena at the Indigenous peoples hub and with the New York Times Climate Forward hub in London. She was the head of programming for CultureCOP28 in Egypt and is certified in Indigenous Peoples Rights at Columbia University. Jasmine holds a (BA) in film directing from the DFFB where she is also currently finnishing her master’s degree. She was previously an active member of an international anarchist squat in Exarcheia, Athens, and worked on opening and hosting safe spaces for women refugees and children there in 2019-2021.
