Jessica Sequeira

Her books include Golden Jackal / Chacal Dorado, A Furious Oyster, Rhombus and Oval, Other Paradises: Poetic Approaches to Thinking in a Technological Age and A Luminous History of the Palm, and she has translated many works by Latin American authors, most recently Augusto Monterroso’s The Gold Seekers. She also edits the magazine Firmament, published by Sublunary Editions. Recently she completed a PhD at the Centre of Latin American Studies at the University of Cambridge, on the influence of India on six Latin American writers.
