✨ Scholarship Opportunity: Workshop with CA Conrad

The scholarships allow participants to attend the three-day course ‘REGENERATION: (Soma)tic Poetry Rituals for New Growth w/ CA Conrad‘ at the Home School free of charge, and extend their learnings into a small group practice that seeks to develop new writing rituals with relation to burnout and the body over the space of a week.

Band of Burnouts Scholarship

Information

The first part is the course with CAConrad, taking place on:

  • June 28, 29, 30 – 2021 Time: 9am- 11 am PST / Noon – 2 EST / 5pm – 7pm GMT / 7pm – 9pm CEST

In the second part, our collective will continue working together to develop our own collective tools. This time may also be used for producing a submission to the Band of Burnouts experimental print publication.

  • July 1, 2, 3, 4 Time: 10:30 – 12:30* CEST)

*These times can be flexible and decided together around each other’s schedules.

CAConrad

About CAConrad CAConrad has been working with the ancient technologies of poetry and ritual since 1975. They are the author of Amanda Paradise (Wave Books, 2021). Other titles include The Book of Frank, Ecodeviance, and A Beautiful Marsupial Afternoon. They received a Creative Capital grant, a Pew Fellowship, a Lambda Literary Award, and a Believer Magazine Book Award. They teach at Columbia University in New York City and Sandberg Art Institute in Amsterdam.
