Jelena Mair

Jelena Mair is the Creative Director at Below the Skin, co-developing artistic concepts with Aly Khamees. With a background in expressive art therapy, and transdisciplinary studies, as well as a Master’s in International Development and Conflict Transformation, her career spans roles in startups and NGOs focused on social inclusion and organisational sustainability. At School of Commons at Zurich University of the Arts, she co-facilities the program and is responsible for Funding & Partners, the Programm Office and oversees Finances..

Passionate about helping others, Jelena loves guiding people in bringing their project ideas to life—whether it’s through creative brainstorming, organizational strategies, or securing funding. She enjoys supporting others in kickstarting their ventures from idea to reality. For Jelena, art and social change are deeply connected, making her a dedicated organizational architect and lifelong learner.

Jelena is also a certified Organic Intelligence Resiliency Coach and interested in the trauma, neuroscience and buddhist psychology.
