As a part of this year's #AntiuniversityFestival, STUDIO SANSHIN is organising an online panel: "Lessons from Artist-Run Schools: on Art, Attention, Ecology and Technology". The festival was founded in 2015 to reignite the spirit that was present in a 1968 festival by the same name, organised in protest of rising school fees in the UK, the hierarchies of higher education, and in many ways - our crisis of imagination - when it comes to how we learn and who we learn from (see more here: https://lnkd.in/d3UbnZuk) For this year's festival, it felt fitting to bring a group of people together to think about their relationships to legacy institutions, tactics for sustaining alternative education, visions for the future, and more. We just had our check-in call, and I'm SO excited for this conversation! This panel will feature speakers from theSchool of Commons, LungA School,Strother School of Radical Attention, NØ SCHOOL NEVERS and theSchool of Machines, Making & Make-Believe:Chantelle Lue, Mark Rohtmaa-Jackson, Peter Schmidt,Benjamin Gaulon, and Rachel Uwa. If you're interested in joining us online, please use luma to sign up for the Zoom link, and share widely! https://lnkd.in/d4BiJPhX
