A Symposium as part of the Festival der solidarischen Hochschule

What does it take to act collectively in times of uncertainty, precarity, and political fragmentation? How do we build the relationships, structures, and capacities needed to sustain democratic life?

Closing the Festival der solidarischen Hochschule, To Cast a Spell: Skills for Collective Action brings together artists, curators, cultural workers, organisers, and researchers whose practices explore collective forms of learning, organising, and institution-building. The symposium is dedicated to practices of organising in art and beyond: solidarity-based funding models, peer learning initiatives, self-managed structures, and experimental assembly formats.
