Building Frameworks for Alternative Educational Environments.
This Masterclass introduces key ways and workings for formulating frameworks that construct alternative learning and educational environments.
The Masterclass takes a do-it-with-others approach, which means, alongside keynote inputs, it will focus on group work, feedback and reflection sessions, and space for practice to ensure the tools provided can be implementable for participants.
The Masterclass introduces methods of peer learning, mutual support structures, open-source technological tools, commoning practices, curiosity driven learning, and accessibility-focused methods.
All of the methods and tools shared during the Masterclass can be directly implemented across varying educational and learning environment contexts.

- Keynote input on the ways and workings that form the learning environment of School of Commons
- Introduction to implementable methodologies for creating frameworks for alternative educational environments
- Introduction to tools, structures and technology for creating alternative learning environments
- Introduction of implementable approaches centred around commoning practices, curiosity driven learning and context steering
- Introduction of tools and structures for accessibility in learning environments
- Introduction of the Hologram method used for mutual support
The course is aimed at those who are interesed in implementing tools and frameworks for alternative educational structures. It is also for all emloyees with any level of interest in peer learning, commoning, accessibility and alternative learning methods.
