MAPP

MAPP (Methods, Affects, & Practical Pedagogies) is a thematic framework, developed by SoC, for a working group/lab. MAPP is directed at practice-based research into different forms of knowledge production and its translation into workable structures, exercises, and methods for learning.

For Who MAPPs are intended for individuals and collectives who have a practicing interest in the field of experimental pedagogy and commoning. We are looking for doers and makers, persons with a proactive attitude that are able to lead a group of learners and devise creative pedagogical experiments. How Through self-conducted research and experiment, the creation of practical exercises and work sessions, MAPP aims to produce practicable tools, methods, and prompts in support of different forms of future living, learning, and working together. *One of three previous ‘labs’ at School of Commons (2017-2022)
